Specially developed for the quick and efficient setting of Genuine Gemstones and Created Stones, the Swarovski Presetting program enables manufacturers to work in an easy way with a wide range of complex and particularly difficult materials to set stones into. Swarovski Presettings can be used to set stones of various sizes and colors in solid or thin-walled materials. Stones are available mounted in bezel or prong-settings in Yellow Gold 18K, White Gold 18K, Silver 925, and Bronze.
BEZEL HOLLOW OPEN (Glued)
Our specially developed Presettings are ideal for applying stones to thin-walled materials. The stones are set in two different Presetting models: ‘open back’ and ‘closed back’, with the selected model being easily incorporated during the production process. After making a hole in the workpiece, the Presetting is either soldered in place, or attached with a two-component adhesive. The open version has an open backside, with the gemstone’s pavilion extending through the bottom of the tube The mounting is very short, lightweight, and ideal for extremely thin-walled materials.
BEZEL HOLLOW CLOSED (GLUED)
The closed version has a closed backside that protects the stone entirely. The polished inner side of the tube optimizes the light return and provides maximum brilliance. The lightweight mounting is perfect for thin-walled materials where the backside of the gemstone is difficult to clean.
BEZEL THIN-WALLED (CLICKED)
The Bezel Thin-Walled is an innovative solution for the application of pre-set stones, without the need for soldering or adhesives. When working with material strengths as low as 0,65 mm, the Bezel Thin-Walled can be clicked into place with ease.
BEZEL SOLID Open (CLICKED)
The Bezel Solid enables simple application by pressing the Presetting into a precision-drilled two-stage hole.
The safety rim on the side of the mounting affixes the stone securely, without the need for soldering or adhesives.
The Bezel provides straightforward application by simply pressing the Presetting into a precision-drilled hole. The specially designed hooks fitted to the mounting secure it firmly in the hole, excluding the need for soldering or adhesives.
The mountings on the Prong are designed for applications with solid materials. Four prongs are first used to set the stone firmly in the tube. The Prong can then be applied by pressing the tube into the solid material. There is no need for soldering or adhesives.
PLASTIC PRESETTING (CLICKED)
Our Plastic Presetting is designed to be easily set into milled or injection-moulded holes. The Plastic Presetting is versatile and can
be applied to a vast range of materials such as plastic, cellulose acetate, ceramic, and stainless steel. Without the need for adhesives, the Presetting is simply clicked into place, where it is held securely and permanently through friction. Made from Polyamide 11, the Plastic Presetting is completely resistant to corrosion.
