MIDNIGHT FLOWERS – Inspirations
Petals in Design
Flowers are an eternal muse, offering endless inspiration for jewelry design. And flowers begin with petals. An array of fancy gemstone cuts provide infinite possibilities for art to imitate life, as gemstone petals take shape like flowers blooming in nature. Tiffany & Co.’s new Paper Flowers collection is one example. Inspired by paper petals clipped out and pinned together, its fresh design makes it a fine jewelry collection for everyday wear. Pear and drop shapes are seeing an upward trend for crafting floral designs, as well as pave technique in floral shapes, such as the Boucheron choker seen on Anja Rubik in Cannes. Just like in nature, there are infinite possibilities – and no limitations.

Extend the floral trend with elongated silhouettes and cascading stones for opulent earrings, or dangling chains with a spray of blossom on bangles and rings.
